CLEVELAND (AP) - A body found near a Lake Erie marina may be a swimmer missing since last week.
A man fishing with his son spotted the body floating Sunday morning and called authorities. A police marine unit and Coast Guard crew members located the body about 35 yards from shore, Sgt. Terry Hageman said.
The coroner was trying to identify the body.
Police said the body may be that of the stepbrother of another man rescued from Lake Erie Thursday. The two went swimming from their 21-foot boat, according to the Coast Guard.
A boater pulled one man from the lake about 100 yards from shore. The other man, in his 30s, disappeared in 2- to 3-foot waves.
