No Arrests: Police search for suspects in teen shooting

Police responded to South Moreland & Buckeye early Monday morning for a shooting.

When they arrived, they found a 16 years old Jackrell Russell, he had been shot in the chest.

According to witnessed, while riding the RTA bus south bound on South Moreland at Buckeye Russell ran to the bus and started banging on the doors of the bus attempting to get on the bus.

The driver stopped the bus and let him on.

Once on the bus Russell said a man tried to rob him and shot him. The witnesses called police and EMS. 

Russell was taken to Huron Road Hospital by EMS, where he is being treated for his injuries.

The shooter is described as a short white male wearing a black ski mask, black shorts and a green jacket.

He was reportedly riding with a black male who was wearing white tank T-shirt. The car is described as black Chevrolet conversion van with silver stripes.

This investigation is being handled by the Fourth District Detective Bureau.
