Inmate who violently attacked teacher shows no remorse, sentenced to 9-years in jail

LORAIN COUNTY, OH (WOIO) -

UPDATE: The inmate who attacked a female teacher at the Grafton prison was sentenced to prison on Thursday.

Donald Anderson was sentenced to 9-years behind bars for the vicious attack that happened in April of 2010.

52-year-old Anderson was already serving time for two violent crimes when he put the teacher in a chokehold, punched her several times. He then put a razor to her throat and groped her.

Prosecutors also say the attack was planned.

Anderson showed no remorse in court on Thursday, and even flashed a peace sign to 19 Action News Reporter Paul Orlousky.

The victim broke down in tears and was unable to read her prepared statement. The Prosecutor read it on her behalf.
