"Grease" and "Taxi" actor dies at the age of 60

Taxi and Grease star Jeff Conaway has died in his hospital bed after his manager said he lost his battle with pneumonia, according to CNN.

The actor was 60 years old.  He had battled a drug addiction over the years.

His struggle with alcohol and drug addiction was chronicled on the TV reality show "Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew."

Conaway will long be remembered by fans for his portrayal of struggling actor Bobby Wheeler on the well-loved TV series Taxi, which co-starred Judd Hirsch, Danny DeVito, Marilu Henner and Christopher Lloyd and also for his portrayal of Kenickie in the movie Grease starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John.
