Male rescued from Tinker's Creek in Bedford

BEDFORD, OH (WOIO) - Rescue workers were called out to Glen Park for a water rescue at Tinker's Creek Saturday, the second time this week.

According to authorities on scene, a kayaker was on the river when the male became separated from his kayak around 12 p.m. after becoming stuck on a rock.

The male was rescued by use of a stokes basket then transported to a local hospital by EMS for treatment.

The male was in the water for several hours.

Earlier this week, a suicidal male was also rescued from Tinker's Creek.  In April, was rescued from the water after chasing a basketball into the creek.
