Layoffs hit city of Cleveland's safety forces

A big hit for the city of Cleveland's safety forces.

As of today, June 1st, 275 city employees are out of a job, including 51 firefighters and 81 police officers.

The city is dealing with a budget shortfall because of a cut in state aid.

35 fire department vehicles will still roll each day, but fewer numbers could mean slower response times.
