Well every time we air one of our editorials we ask you, the audience, to write and let us know what you think. And you do.
Recently, I talked about Cleveland moving to approve new anti-smoking laws and banning Trans fats at local restaurants. Theresa from North Olmsted wrote to say, "I agree with you. The mindset of these do-gooders is irking me and now they want to legislate their ideas on me." Well and Pat from Sheffield wrote, "Trans fats are a health hazard. They clog up the arteries. So, what is wrong with banning them?"
Well, we also got a lot of responses about the killing of Osama bin Laden. Patrick from Copley wrote to say, "Your editorial was right on. You used the term vengeance, but I prefer justice." And Virginia from Bellville said, "I hope the families of those killed on 9/11 can have some peace knowing he is gone. He caused so much pain to so many people."
Well, thanks again for sharing your opinions with us. And as always, write and let us know what you think. I'm Bill Applegate.
