Opening statements in corruption trial of Judge Terry

AKRON, OH (WOIO) - Opening statements began Monday in the corruption trial of Common Pleas Court Judge Steven Terry.

Terry is caught up in the Cuyahoga County Corruption scandal. He is accused of making rulings in a foreclosure case at the request of former Cuyahoga County Auditor Frank Russo.

Russo was among the first witnesses to take the stand against Terry. He testified he gave Judge Steven Terry a list of his top campaign donors.

Terry denies the charges.
