Violent drug user, dealer wanted for vicious beating of convenient store employee

(WOIO) - The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Ronnie Haskins.

Haskins is wanted by the U.S. Marshals, and the Euclid Police Department on charges of strong-arm robbery of a business.  On April 19th, it is alleged that Haskins went into the Convenient Food Mart located at 719 Babbitt in Euclid and entered into an altercation with its proprietor.  Haskins attempted to steal 2 cans of malt liquor and leave the store.  As Haskins was leaving, the employee at the counter confronted him which resulted in Haskins assault on the victim.  Haskins severely beat the man in the doorway of the store and when the victim attempted to retreat behind the counter, Haskins followed him and began striking him again.  The employee finally sounded the alarm as Haskins fled the store.  Haskins has a lengthy criminal history that includes numerous acts of violence.  Haskins is a known drug user and distributor.

Haskins is a 31-year-old black male standing approximately 6'01", and weighing 200 pounds.  He has black hair and has brown eyes.  Haskins has tattoos on both of his forearms.  Haskins has numerous family members and associates throughout the Euclid and Cleveland areas.  Haskins has previously resided on the 600 block of Babbitt Road in Euclid as well as the 800 block of Keystone Drive in Cleveland Heights.
