Logan and Allen sentenced to Life in Prison for deadly shooting

Montez Logan and Demetrius Allen were each sentenced Tuesday to life in prison with parole eligibility after 46 years.  

On July 17, 2010, five victims were standing near a car parked in front of 3179 East 123rd Street near Imperial Avenue in Cleveland. Logan and Allern, armed with an AK-47 and a semi-automatic handgun, walked up and opened fired on the car and the victims.

Kenneth Green, 18, and Miley Slaughter, 22, were both fatally shot. A 23-year-old male was shot in the foot. The other two males were not hit.

Last week, after a 2 1/2 week long trial, a jury found Logan, 23, of Akron, and Allen, 23, of Cleveland, guilty of the indictment: aggravated murder, attempted aggravated murder, and having weapons while disability.
