Local inventor introduces kids stroller shade just in time for intense sunshine

When it's as hot and humid as it's been, children are especially vulnerable not just to the heat, but also to sunburns.

A local inventor is working with a Cleveland vocational program to make sunglasses for strollers.

The type of stroller shade will keep little ones cool, comfortable and safe on hot sunny days, which is a priority for moms.

It's also a passion of Bebe Soliel.

Local inventor Ilka Gordon came up with the stroller shade to protect infants and young kids from U-V rays. Assisting in her start up and production was Vocational Guidance Services.

With summer now in full swing, sales are heating up.

Beach going moms are ready to apply that next layer of sunscreen and look into this other tool to protect their kids.
