Cops search for hit and run driver that fled the scene where two women were hurt

The conditions of two young Cleveland women are improving after they wound up in the hospital because of a heartless coward.

24 year-old Valerie Quinones and 25 year-old Loreyma Cedeno are both in fair condition at Metro Hospital.

While driving through the Lake Avenue and Clifton intersection someone coming off the Shoreway blasted the car their in sending it spinning and into a tree.

"Broken bones, broken a lot of things, broken lives because it's affected the entire family," said Zoraida Buitrago, Valerie's Mother.

The driver who hit them took off, but before doing so according to witnesses, stopped to pick up pieces of his or her own car hoping to not be identified.

"It's horrifying. I don't think I have any tears left right now. The only thing I could do is to put all my energy to get on tv and ask for help in finding the person who did this," said Zoraida Buitrago, Valerie's Mother.

Cleveland Police believe the car that hit the women was White Honda and will have some serious damage to the front end.
