LORAIN, OH (WOIO) - A five-year-old Lorain boy is now home from the hospital, after being attacked by a pit-bull mix.
The attack happened June 13th at his home at 903 W. 14th Street in Lorain.
Police say Tyzhon Wannamaker was playing outside with his 7-year-old brother, when the dog entered the yard.
Wannamakers' Aunt managed to fight off the dog.
Wannamaker received more than 200 stitches across his face. They said he could have plastic surgery if they need to but by the way everything looks he might not need it.
Although shy, Wannamaker tells 19 Action News reported Lydia Esparra he's doing "good."
Wannamaker's mom worries because he's doing so well. Even after being attacked by the dog, her son didn't cry.
