Ohio Law to allow bar patrons to pack heat in the club

Ohio's guns in bars bill is headed to Gov. John Kasich, who has previously stated that he will sign the bill.

Wednesday, the Ohio Senate voted 25-7 to approve amendments to Senate Bill 17.

The law gives people with concealed-carry permits to bring guns to bars, restaurants and stadiums, but if they have a weapon they are not allowed to drink.

Many states already allow concealed weapons in restaurants, but the line is drawn when it comes to bars.
