Driver in double fatal accident sentenced to four years in prison

The 23-year-old man accused of causing a fatal accident on Cleveland's east side, killing two of his friends, was sentenced today.

Glenn Parrish Junior will spend the next four years in prison.

On June 25th, Parrish was driving a Dodge Caravan, when he blew through a red light at Buckeye Road and MLK, crashing into a van.

Two 23-year-olds in Parrish's mini-van died. Brandon Smith of Cleveland and Daniel Sneed of Cleveland Heights.

Three other 23-year-olds in the mini-van were treated at the hospital.  Justin Fort of Cleveland Heights, Lewis Fitzpatrick of Cleveland, and Justin Merrit of Cleveland.

The driver and passenger in the van Parrish hit, were treated and released.

Parrish, of Twinsburg, was under the influence of drugs at the time of the crash.
