The third installment in the Transformers franchise, Dark of the Moon hits theaters at midnight on June 29th. Our entertainment reporter Chris Van Vliet flew to Moscow, Russia where he was given a chance to see the film and to sit down with the cast for exclusive one-on-one interviews.
While the second Transformers movie, Revenge of the Fallen was the second highest grossing film of 2009 making more than $836-million, the film itself was seen as a disappointment by both its director Michael Bay, and its star Shia LaBeouf.
"The movie's hard to understand," Shia explains, "and when movies get complicated, they're not fun to watch."
Perhaps the biggest change to the franchise is Victoria's Secret Angel, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley replacing Megan Fox as the leading lady. This is the first movie role ever for the model, but she says the experience taught her a lot about herself and hopes to have more film roles in the future.
Movie experts are predicting Dark of the Moon will open to a 5-day box office of more than $150-million which would make it the highest grossing film of 2011.
