Dangerous fugitive, mother tossed in jail

After hundreds of manpower hours and the use of Aerial and electronic surveillance, the Akron Police Department, the U.S. Marshals Office Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force and Copley Police Department took another violent fugitive off the streets.

Michael Terrell Sharp was taken into custody around 4PM Sunday afternoon at a motel on Springside Drive in Copley. He was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Summit County Jail.

Sharp was wanted for a two counts of Felonious Assault for a shooting that occurred outside the Stadium Lounge on July 3rd where two women were shot.

Sharp was also warranted for two other crimes that he committed. Sharp was wanted for an Aggravated Robbery on May 25th where he robbed a 21-year-old man at gunpoint outside a convenient store on Copley Road and for Felonious Assault and Discharging a Firearm into a structure on Noble Avenue on May 19th where he shot into a crowd of people holding a memorial service for the homicide death of Quentin Terrell.

Michael Sharp's mother, 44-year-old Felicia M. Reynolds, was also arrested. Reynolds was charged with felony Obstructing Justice and booked into the Summit County Jail.
