SUMMIT COUNTY, OH (WOIO) - On July 11th during routine patrols, the Summit County Sheriff's Patrol Division stopped a suspicious subject in a residential area in the City of Green.
The subject was identified as Nicholas Anton, a 21-year-old white male. After conducting a brief interview, the subject was found to be in possession of stolen items.
During the interview, Anton admitted to numerous thefts from motor vehicles throughout the City of Green and Springfield Township.
In addition, Nicholas Anton had an active warrant out of the Kent State Police Department for Burglary.
The Summit County Sheriff's Detective assigned to the City of Green arrested Anton on six counts of Theft. The property was photographed, inventoried, and returned to the property owners. Nicholas Anton was then transported and booked into the Summit County Jail.
