The End: Borders is boarding up July 19, 2011 at 12:10 AM EST - Updated June 24 at 6:24 PM No one wants to buy Borders, so it's closing. The nations second largest bookstore chain plans to close its nearly 400 stores by the end of September. Store liquidation is expected to begin as early as this week.
