Wickliffe Police believe missing man is in danger

WICKLIFFE, OH (WOIO) - The Wickliffe Police Department is requesting the public's help in locating a missing man who is believed to be in danger.

Daniel Gebing was last seen at his home on Elgin Avenue on Saturday, July 16th at about 2:45PM.

His black Ford Ranger pick-up truck was located Tuesday morning parked, unoccupied, at 24112 Rockwell Drive in Euclid. This is an industrial area, and the truck had been there for at least two days, and possibly longer.

Daniel's personal items were found with the truck, and his clothing and shoes were found nearby.

Information received indicates that Daniel may have been seen in the area on Saturday, July 16 at about 4:30PM. At that time, he was acting irrationally.

While there are no obvious signs of foul play, police believe Daniel is in danger and are concerned for his welfare.

Daniel has worked for over 20 years for the same employer, and he has never failed to show up for work. He has no criminal record, and his family and friends are worried about his welfare.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Wickliffe Police Department at 440-943-1234.
