U.S. Marshals seek fugitive in robbery, kidnapping

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Amber Alston.

Alston is wanted by the U.S. Marshals and Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Office on charges of aggravated robbery and kidnapping.  Alston is also wanted by the Solon Police Department on failure to appear charges involving an assault/domestic violence case.  Alston has a third warrant issued by the Cleveland Police Department for being in contempt of court on a separate domestic violence and intimidation case.

On September 24th, 2010, an altercation took place at 1263 W.25th Street in Cleveland involving Alston and two other male suspects. Alston allegedly coerced a male victim back to an apartment within a CMHA housing project complex. Once the male was inside the stairwell of the building, Alston locked the door and assisted the other two male suspects in armed robbery.  Alston's criminal history involves mostly theft and receiving stolen property offenses, however there are acts of violence in her background.

Alston is a 29-year-old black female standing approximately 5'0", and weighing 156 pounds.  She has black hair and brown eyes.  Alston is also known to use the aliases Amber Higdon, and Kim Marcella Jarmon.  Alston has a tattoo on her right forearm.  Alston has previously resided on the 2700 block of Division Avenue in Bldg. 500 on Cleveland's west side.  Alston is known to frequent the immediate area surrounding the city on both the near east and west sides of Cleveland.
