Willoughby police investigate series of business break-ins

WILLOUGHBY, OH (WOIO) - Police in Willoughby are investigating break-ins at three area businesses. All have occurred since Saturday.

Sometime Saturday night or Sunday morning, someone entered the Red Robin on Euclid Avenue, pried open video games and swiped the cash.

Also on Saturday night or Sunday morning, someone busted the rear entry door at Western & Southern Life on Ridge Road. Nothing appears to have been taken at that location.

And around 7PM Monday night, someone was seen shattering the front door of Timberline Roofing on Vine Street. The suspect stole about $900 worth of power tools from the business.

Witnesses described the suspect as a thin man who was in the company of a woman. They were seen in a silver SUV or crossover-type vehicle.

It is not yet known whether there is any connection between the break-ins.
