Former Browns player Braylon Edwards was back in a Cleveland court Wednesday afternoon, for violating his probation.
In January, 2010, Edwards pleaded no contest after a fight outside the Cleveland club "The View" in October, 2009. However, his guilty plea for drunk driving in New York - where he played for the Jets - violated the terms of his probation.
So, the judge added another year to Edwards' probation and an additional 100 hours of community service.
Edwards is currently a free agent. With this extra punishment, it's not clear whether the wide receiver violated the NFL's behavior policy. If NFL Commissioner decides he did, Edwards may be suspended at the start of the 2011 season.
