Cleveland Police search for escaped inmate

The Cleveland Division of Corrections is seeking the public's help in locating an escaped prisoner. 

Saturday at approximately 6:45 p.m., Erin E. Eckroad, while being treated at South Point Hospital escaped from the custody of Corrections Officers.  While handcuffed in the Emergency room Eckroad was able to free herself and flee from the hospital.

The Warrensville Heights Police Department was immediately notified and initiated a search for Eckroad. Erin E. Eckroad is a resident of Garfield Heights and may be headed there.  

Suspect Description:  White female, 26 yrs. old, 5'7", 125 lbs, blond hair, hazel eyes, wearing a lavender tank top and brown shorts.
