Businessman ups the ante to help catch Luke Easter Park shooter

An area businessman and former Cuyahoga County Executive candidate is offering a $5,000 dollar reward to help catch the triggerman in this weekend's deadly shooting at Luke Easter Park.

The shooting happened Saturday evening following Councilman Zach Reed's Family Unity picnic.

Police say the suspect fired into the crowd, hitting a total of four people.

16-year-old Sylvonte Williams was shot twice in the head, and died Sunday at Metro.

Businessman Ken Lanci tells 19 Action News his reward is good through 10PM Tuesday. It is in addition to the $2,000 dollars the city is offering.

Lanci says he is upset thugs are trying to ruin something good in the community.

Two other victims - 14-year-old Jeremiah Wilson and 20-year-old Marquis Davis - were treated and released from Metro.

The fourth victim is 22-year-old Termaine Hatcher. His condition is not known.
