The Eagles and Browns supposedly made a trade on Saturday involving Eagles defensive tackle Broderick Bunkley. On Monday, the Eagles traded Bunkley to Denver. So, what happened?
Bunkley reported to Cleveland, but according to the Philadelphia Inquirer, one of the conditions of the trade wasn't met.
The trade showed up on the NFL's official transaction list on Sunday. However, the Browns never confirmed the trade took place.
Browns general manager Tom Heckert said to ask Philadelphia what went wrong. The Eagles say Bunkley refused to report to Cleveland.
Eagles general manager Howie Roseman said on Monday, "There's more to it than that...not just a guy dictating where he wants to go."
