A-Cab's Two Home Runs Lead Tribe Past Red Sox

Boston (WOIO) - Asdrubal Cabrera went deep twice, including a two-run blast in the 8th inning that broke a 5-5 tie, as the Indians rallied past the Red Sox on Monday night, 9-6 at Fenway Park.

Cabrera, whose 8th inning home run was originally ruled a single before video replay overturned it, had homered earlier, going back-to-back with Travis Hafner in the 6th, as the Indians pulled ahead 5-3.

But Boston answered immediately, with Jarred Saltalamacchia taking Josh Tomlin deep in the bottom half of the 6th to tie the game at 5, setting the stage for A-Cab's 8th-inning heroics.

Matt LaPorta added an RBI double later in the 8th to make it an 8-5 game, and Jason Kipnis added a solo home run in the 9th to make it 9-5.

The win pulled the Indians to within two games of idle Detroit.
