The Browns have signed free agent cornerback Dimitri Patterson, who played with Philadelphia the past two seasons, according to the NFL Network's Jason LaCanfora.

Patterson had his best season last year recording 52 tackles, intercepting passes, including one he returned for a touchdown.  He was signed to replace Eric Wright, who signed with Detroit last week.

Patterson is reunited with former Eagles secondary coach Dick Jauron, who is now the Browns defensive coordinator.

He was originally signed as an undrafted free agent out of Tuskegee by Washington in 2005.  Patterson has also played for the Chiefs.
