Thugs involved in brutal beating of Good Samaritan sent to the slammer

Judgement day for the two men who brutally attacked a Good Samaritan who was trying to break up a fight.

The vicious attack happened in November of 2010 on Lee Road in Cleveland Heights after a Cleveland Heights football game.

The victim - 33-year-old Michael Allen - was seriously injured. He suffered a broken leg, a fractured skull and a number of stitches after being beaten with a landscaping stone.

17-year-old Maurice Pollard was sentenced to nine and a half years in prison and 18-year-old Phillip Morris was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison.

Two other suspects involved in the attack - 18-year-old twin brothers Santize and Santino Jones - have already been sentenced. Santize is currently serving five years, and Santino is serving four years behind bars.
