Honda recalling a 1.5 million cars in the U.S.

Honda is recalling a million-and-a-half cars in the U. S. because of a transmission problem.

This includes the 2005 through 2008 Element, 2007 through 2010 C-R-V, and the 2004 through 2010 Accord, with 4-cylinder engines.

A transmission part can be damaged if the car is shifted quickly between reverse, neutral and drive and it can cause the engine to stall.

The issue could also cause the car to roll even when it is in park.

Honda will fix the problem.  No injuries or deaths have been reported.
