A man accused of raping and kidnapping a teen has been charged.

Walter Jackson was charged Friday with kidnapping, rape, and felonious assault.

"He was going to kill me. I know he was going to kill me," said the victim.

Tuesday, an 18-year-old female escaped from a van and onto the street. The victim says 63-year-old Walter Jackson held her up at gunpoint on West 58th Street, then pulled her into his van where she says she was repeatedly raped for 3 hours.

She says when he was done, he got back behind the wheel and she planned her escape. She pushed out a door with her feet and landed on the street!

"I was handcuffed like this my feet were tied together with shoe strings," said the victim.

It was obvious she had been a victim of terrible crimes "There's a young lady on the floor.  I just drove up.  She's tied up and she's naked and she's bleeding over her head" says one witness who called 9-1-1. The witness took it a step further to try and help the victim after she was spotted on the ground at W.47th and Train.

Dezhan Jemison, witnessed what had just happened, so he and a friend followed the van that the victim was thrown from. He lead Cleveland and Rocky River Police Wooster and Detroit Road where they placed Walter Jackson, of North Olmsted, under arrest on suspicion of assault and rape.

"I called and said there were two cars that were driving west on 90 and it looked like they were playing chicken," said Dezhan Jemison.

Neighbors and witnesses are sickened and scared by the violence happening neighborhood. "What would make somebody even do something like that? Right here at the end of my street.  It's terrible.  I just hope he gets what's coming to him" says Dan Cruso of Cleveland.

"Gina DeJesus and Amanda Berry, I remember all those girls I could have been on of those girls," said the victim.
