Indians Rally Past Twins

When Minnesota shortstop Tsuyoshi Nishioka laced a 2-out RBI single to right in the top the 8th inning the Indians were forced to rally again. The hit put the Twins up 2-1 in what had been a low scoring game all night.

The Tribe bounced right back in the bottom of the frame. After Travis Hafner picked up a 1-out hit, Michael Brantley pinch ran for him. Moments later Brantley scored the game-tying run when Carlos Santana doubled to center field. Matt LaPorta would drive home Santana on a bloop hit to left to put Cleveland up 3-2.

Chris Perez slammed the door in the 9th to seal the win.
