Lights, camera, action! There's a movie in the making right in our own backyard.
The new Avengers flick is becoming a "superhero" to businesses in downtown Cleveland.
Thousands are swarming downtown to catch a glimpse of Hollywood, and the filming starts today.
Downtown Cleveland will be used for the final scene of the Avenger's new movie. There have been crowds of people that have come out see E.9th Street transformed, and of course to see all the Hollywood stars.
Susan Thomas really thought there had been a major disaster on E.9th Street until someone told her. That it was a movie set. "I think this is so realistic!!! I mean I thought people were hurt! I fell for it big time!!!" says Thomas.
A source working on this set told us this is from the final scene of the avengers movie... And you'll see it for more than just a few seconds...
The set on E.9th Street is being transformed into New York City's E. 42nd Street.
Samuel L. Jackson, Robert Downey Jr., and Scarlett Johansson are just a few of those on the star studded cast. Samuel L. Jackson has already spotted at the Hard Rock Café, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum and out on W.6th Street
"Everyone was pretty much gasping for air!! It's not every day that an A list actor comes into the Hard Rock! It was pretty lucky for the server who got the table... Did he leave a good tip? I didn't ask..." says Hard Rock Café employee Morgan Malone.
Those headed downtown can expect traffic delays, road closures and RTA reroutes.
