19-year-old surrenders to police in connection to deadly shooting at Akron party

AKRON, OH (WOIO) - A 19-year-old man has turned himself into police for the murder of Brielle Robins.

The 18-year-old girl was shot to death Friday at a party at a high-rise apartment building on Everton Drive.

Darius Rashawn Junius surrendered Monday evening.

Junius is charged with aggravated murder, attempted aggravated murder, felonious assault and aggravated riot.

Two men were also shot at the party - 20-year-old Jmere Harrison and 27-year-old Willie Lee White.

White remains hospitalized. Harrison was treated and released from the hospital.

Five other people have also been charged in connection with the shooting.
