Geauga County woman indicted for drunk driving crash that killed judge

GEAUGA COUNTY, OH (WOIO) - A Geauga County woman has been indicted for killing a judge while driving drunk.

The prosecutor says Kelly Cox, 42, struck Judge Charles 'Chip" Henry, 53, with her car while he was riding his bike.

The accident happened back in May on Rapids Road, Cox was almost four times over the legal limit.

Wednesday, she was indicted on the charges of OVI and Aggravated Vehicular Homicide.

The prosecutor says Cox's two children ages 10 and 2 were in the car at the time of the fatal crash.

Cox is currently out on bond.

Judge Henry was a Geauga County Juvenile and Probate Judge.
