Colt McCoy threw three first half touchdown passes as the Browns built up a 21-13 halftime lead on Detroit. Cleveland went up 28-13 in the third quarter when Armon Smith ripped off an 81 yard touchdown run. From there the Lions poured on 17 unanswered points to rally for a 30-28 win.
McCoy was 10/18 for 96 yards and the three scores, two of them went to tight end Evan Moore. Greg Little also hauled in a touchdown pass.
Smith was their leading rusher with 90 yards on six carries but he also fumbled twice.
