Investigation launched into the Cuyahoga County Criminal Clerk of Court's Office

19 Action News has just learned of an investigation 'inside' of Cleveland's Justice Center. We're told there could be two cases in one office!

The County Inspector General is looking into an office that handles court records and money. The Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Department is also investigating but nobody is saying why.

The investigation is happening in the office of the Cuyahoga County Criminal Clerk of Courts in regards to possible criminal misconduct.

Sources tell 19 Action News that one of the managers has been suspended with pay during the investigation.

In the meantime, the Sheriff's Department says they have an investigation going on in the same office, though no charges or findings are imminent at this time.

One courthouse source tells us there have been questions about the money.
