United States Marshals to auction off 43.51 carat yellow diamond

Northern District of Ohio United States Marshals Service Asset Forfeiture Division is announcing the auction of a 43.51 Carat Internally Flawless Fancy Intense Yellow Diamond to be sold during an online auction by Bid4Assets.com, under contract.

The diamond measures 25.7mm long, 18.11mm wide, and 10.78mm depth. The texture of this magnificent diamond is crystal with a very, very slight internal graining and is a cushion modified brilliant fair cut. The crown is brilliant cut with 25 facets. The color fluorescence is described as a faint, milky yellowish white. The GIA-GTL Colored Diamond Grading Report Number is 15154097, Bar Code: 210511555920, dated June 8, 2011. The United States Marshal for the Northern District of Ohio, Pete Elliot said, "This precious gem is sure to generate interest worldwide."

The auction is now until September 8th closing at 3:00 PM EST.
