Indians Rally Again, 8-7

Asdrubal Cabrera hit a three run home run in the bottom of the 8th inning to lead the Indians past Kansas City 8-7. It was the second dramatic homer of the night. In the 4th Jim Thome socked a solo shot to left to tie the game at 4. It was Thome's first homer as an Indian since 2002 and added to his franchise record of 335.

The Royals took a 7-4 lead in the 7th when Alex Gordon launched a three run homer off of Tony Sipp. Moments later Cabrera turned the tables.

Cleveland did not gain any ground in the division however, Detroit knocked off Minnesota 6-4.
