Animated Michigan bank robber may be hiding out in Ohio

CALHOUN CO. -

Michigan Deputies were dispatched to a bank robbery Thursday morning. It happened at the Southern Michigan Bank and Trust at 202 N. Main St. in the Village of Tekonsha.

Bank employees claim a male entered the bank pointing a handgun at bank employees.

After the robbery, the suspect fled with cash out of the front entrance of the bank to a vehicle parked on E. Canal St. south east of the bank.

The suspect was described as a male, 6'2"-6'3" approximately 160lbs slim build, wearing a blue hooded jacket with a white stripe along the back. Dark colored pants, gloves, tennis shoes and a Halloween mask.

The vehicle is described as a mid 1990's white vehicle with a gray or dark colored panel along the lower section of the car. Deputies are being assisted by the FBI Kalamazoo Office.
