Repeat drunk driver pleads not guilty

A repeat drunk driver went before a judge Thursday morning.

31-year-old Bridgette Alesci pleaded not guilty to charges of failure to comply with order or signal of a police officer and driving while under the influence.

On July 24th, Moreland Hills police were notified of an erratic driver traveling southbound on SOM Center Road. Alesci was observed driving across the double yellow line on Miles Road.

When the officer activated her overhead lights, the vehicle rapidly sped up almost striking a mailbox on the right side of the road.

This was Alesci's fourth DUI in six years.

Her bond set at $10K dollars.
