(WOIO) - U.S. Marshal Peter J. Elliott has released the September 2011 updated "Dangerous Dozen" list of most wanted fugitives for the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force.
Four new fugitives were added to the list this month to replace four captured fugitives. Thomas Propst is an Ashtabula County, Ohio area fugitive wanted for the murder of his wife. He is a former corrections officer and avid outdoorsman. Derek Watson is a Toledo, Ohio area fugitive and is wanted for assault. Kennard Gay is an Akron, Ohio area fugitive and is wanted on two warrants for murder and attempted murder from two separate incidents that occurred over the last few months. Billy Farmer is a Mansfield, Ohio area fugitive and is wanted for sex offender registration violation.
All of the fugitives on the "Dangerous Dozen" should be considered dangerous individuals and should not be approached by the general public. If anyone has information concerning the whereabouts of these fugitives, they are encouraged to contact the NOVFTF toll free at (866) 4WANTED. Callers may remain anonymous and cash rewards are available for information leading to the arrest of any of these fugitives.
Since the inception of the "Dangerous Dozen" program in May 2010, the NOVFTF has apprehended or closed 61 of the 69 fugitives profiled on this list. Of the 61 apprehended, 39 were a direct result of the exposure from the media and assistance of the public.
Anyone can click on each photo on the flyer and view full wanted posters for each fugitive, which contain larger pictures and more information on the fugitive. The public can also go to www.usmarshals.gov/district/oh-n/fugitives to view the fugitives and wanted posters.
