Marshals seek fugitive wife killer

(WOIO) - The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Thomas Propst.

Propst is wanted by the U.S. Marshals, and the Ashtabula County Sheriff's Office on charges of homicide.  Propst is currently one of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force's Dangerous Dozen. Propst is wanted for aggravated murder of his wife on August 30th. The murder took place in Ashtabula County, Ohio.

Propst was last seen driving a 1994 white Toyota Tacoma pickup truck extended cab with a blue/gray pin striped.  The vehicle has an Ohio plate BV38QG, and the truck may also have a black cap.  Propst has been described as an experienced outdoorsman with extensive survival skills.  It is believed he could be hiding out in wooded areas anywhere in the Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia tri-state areas.  Propst is known to frequent state and national forests.  Propst should be considered armed and dangerous.  Propst has no criminal history other than a recent domestic violence charge.

Propst is a 55-year-old white male standing approximately 5'09", and weighing 155 pounds.  He has brown hair and has brown eyes. At the present time, Propst is believed to be bald.  Propst may be disguised and possibly have grown a beard.  Propst has previously resided on the 1400 block of Dodgeville Road in Ashtabula.
