Medical Examiner confirms 19-year old killed himself during police standoff in Euclid

EUCLID, OH (WOIO) - The Cuyahoga County medical examiner's office confirmed Thursday that a 19-year-old killed himself during a police standoff in Euclid.

On the morning September 20th, police went to 26577 Leslie to serve an arrest warrant, but Darian Green, who was inside the house, fired several shots at them.

The SWAT Team was called and the area was blocked off.

Several hours into the standoff, Green shot himself in the chest.

No police officers were injured.

Green was wanted for not appearing in court on telephone harassment and domestic violence charges.
