The Future Is Now: Braxton Miller Named OSU Starting QB

Four games in, and Luke Fickell is making the move.  The OSU head coach, announcing on Thursday that Braxton Miller will take over as starting quarterback beginning this Saturday against the Colorado Buffaloes.

The last true freshman to start at quarterback for the Buckeyes was Terrelle Pryor, back in 2008, and in similar fashion, that was four games into the season.

The move surprises nobody, after Joe Bauserman's dismal performance against the Miami Hurricanes last weekend.  The 26-year old senior completed only 2 of his 14 passes for 13 yards.

Miller wasn't much better, completing only 2 of 4 passes.  He also threw an interception and fumbled, but the Buckeyes believe he is the future, so the future is now in Columbus.
