Indians Dig The Long Ball in Win Over White Sox

Cleveland (WOIO) - Payback can be sweet, even if you're only playing for second place.

One night after being thumped by the White Sox, the Indians returned the favor, belting three home runs in an 11-2 win at Progressive Field on Thursday night.

Kusoke Fukudome, Jason Kipnis and Asdrubal Cabrera all went deep, and Fukudome added a two-run single in the fifth as well, as the Indians blew it open in the middle innings.

Jeanmar Gomez earned the win, as the Indians moved a game and a half up on Chicago in the A.L. Central.
