Tribe Falls In 10

The Indians lost 6-4 in 10 innings to Minnesota on Sunday. It was the final home game of the year at Progressive Field.

Rene Tosoni hit a solo homer and Chris Parmalee came up with an RBI single in the 10th to win it for the Twins. Cleveland had lead the game 4-2 at one point.

The highlight moment of the day for the Indians came in the top of the 9th inning. After pinch hitting in the bottom of the 8th, Jim Thome moved to third base for one pitch. It was the position he started his career at in Cleveland, and his first appearance at third since 1996. After one pitch he was removed from the game but, it gave Tribe fans one last chance to applaud him as he walked back to the dugout. Sunday was likely the last time Thome will ever wear an Indians uniform in Cleveland.
