Akron man sought in violent 2010 Burger King robbery

COVENTRY TOWNSHIP, OH (WOIO) - A 20-year-old Akron man identified as the thug responsible for robbing a Burger King last year.

On November 28th, 2010 at approximately 9:30PM, the Burger King on Manchester Road in Coventry Township was by robbed by a masked suspect.

The thug walked up to the drive-thru window, grabbed the employee by the hair, and demanded money. The employee relinquished some cash and the suspect fled on foot. The Summit County Sheriff's Office responded and initiated an investigation.

Through the course of the investigation, 20-year-old Eric D. Jones, Jr. was identified by Sheriff's Office Detectives as the robbery suspect.

An arrest warrant for Eric D. Jones, Jr. was filed for count of Robbery. Jones has not yet been located by law enforcement officials.

This investigation is ongoing and additional suspects may face charges.
