Hank Williams yanked from last night's Monday Night Football

"Are you ready for some football?" Country music superstar, Hank Williams Jr. has been the voice of Monday Night Football for nearly 20 years.

Not last night.

ESPN, the home of NFL's Monday Night Football yanked the open from last night's telecast.

This after the singer went on the Fox News show, "Fox and Friends" and ranted about the current administration. (Video Clip)

Williams was being interviewed via satellite when he started ranting about President Obama and company.

Williams referring to President Obama and House Speaker John Boehner playing golf together said, "That'd be like Hitler playing golf with Netanyahu."

ESPN took exception to the statement and issued the following statement:

"While Hank Williams, Jr. is not an ESPN employee, we recognize that he is closely linked to our company through the open to Monday Night Football. We are extremely disappointed with his comments, and as a result we have decided to pull the open from tonight's telecast."

It's not clear if the open will be pulled from future telecasts.
