AKRON, OH (WOIO) - Akron Police and members of the U. S. Marshall Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force, arrested a homicide suspect in the latest Summit County shooting spree.
Christopher Meadows was picked up around 4:30 PM Friday.
Meadows, who has been charged in the shooting death of Tramein Walker, was found walking in the area of South Arlington Street and Interstate 77. He was arrested without incident and will be held in the Summit County Jail pending his arraignment.
Tramein Walker was killed on Wednesday, December 14, 2011, around 10:00 PM at 703 Roselle Avenue. Meadows was quickly identified as the shooter and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Detectives are working to determine a motive.
